Welcome to the Galactic Freedom Command (GFC- a Star Trek Role Playing Game). Gene Rodenberry created a wonderful world for imaginative minds. I doubt even he realized how his creation would grow into the icon it is today. Folks enjoy the movies, books, television series and role playing games both table top and online as well as several PC Games and Game system games.

DEDICATED TO FUN - The GFC is an online Role playing game. Folks meet in a chat room each week to play out a character. Through role playing they are able to enjoy several adventures ranging from hard core Star Trek to imaginative Trekkish. The object of the game is to enjoy interacting with your fellow crewmates and solving the current mission. Role playing requires you to "become" your character and play your position to the best of your ability.

The folks running the game are known as Game Masters. These folks are usually the Captain and Commander of a ship or station and are quite easily recognized by the rank before their names. The GMs are responsible for the game and all internal game matters should be brought to their attention. Most new players will begin at the rank of Ensign (2nd Lt for Marines). Beginning rank is at the discretion of the GM of the game you are joining.

The GFC has been around in one form or another for over 15 years. Several of our members have been with the group since its inception. We have both experienced role players and first time role players. The games are designed to make all levels of role players feel comfortable and be able to have fun.
