STARFLEET PERSONNEL RECORD
NAME: Mykal Cavanya Dar
HEIGHT: 5' 9" PERSONAL HISTORY Mykal was born on Trill in the Daana Province. Her family was well known for their musical talents and dancing. Mykal was preforming on stage by the time she was 3 but by the age of 10 she knew this was not the path she wanted for her life. At the age of 13 Mykal was put through the battery of tests that most Trill children enjoy to judge the compatability of joining. She passed the initial tests and was offered a chance to test for entrance into the training for symbiont joining. Mykal finished high school before entering the initiate's program and after passing this rigorous testing she applied to and was admitted to Starfleet Academy. It was in her second year at the academy that she realized she wanted to be a doctor and started applying herself to this end. Her grades were excellent and she was able to participate in several extra curricular activities as well. In her third year at the Academy she met Asher Fayle whom she married after graduation. They had one son Isaac. They were married for six years. Shortly after graduating from the Academy she was accepted into Starfleet Medical. Mykal was recalled to Trill to be joined with the Dar* symbiont after she had been married to Asher for nearly 3 years. There were several factors around this joining that caused a moral dilema for not only her but the previous hosts' family. She stayed at the Symbiosis Commission's training and integration program for several months before she was deemed ready to return to her life. Ash and Isaac were both aboard the USS Argent during the Hyantee uprising. The Ship was lost with all hands and Mykal, who was on Valaya Colony helping to combat a plague was informed of the tragedy. Mykal managed to finish working on the plague and only after it was under control did she request leave to mourn the loss of her family. Mykal has remained single.
Mykal maintained honor roll status the
entire time she was at the Academy. She was squad leader of her quad
the last two years at the Academy. In excellent condition. *At the time that the Dar symbiont was joined with Mychal the symbiont was 600 years old. Previous Hosts: Zera Dar: The 9th Host to the Dar Symbiont.
Zera was joined when she was 18. She was a doctor in Starfleet and served
aboard the USS Republic, USS Galen and Finally the USS Federation. She
was married to Flynn Torve and they have a son Gabriel Christopher.
Zera was killed when the shuttle carrying her and Flynn crashed. Due
to a risky proceedure the Symbiosis commission decided to remove the
symbiont rather than risk the operation that might save both Zera and
Dar's life. Dar was implanted into the next host. Zera was survived
by her husband Flynn, her daughter Mychaela Hope, step-son Alexander
Flynn and son Gabriel Christopher. Aliya Dar: The 7th host to the Dar Symbiont. Aliya was an architect. She has been credited with having designed some of the most impressive buildings of the 24th Century on Trill and Earth. She was instrumental in designing a good portion of the buildings of Starfleet academy as well as some of the buildings in the governmental section on Trill. She passed over when she was 97. Wyatt Dar: The 6th host to the Dar Symbiont, Wyatt was a business man. He owned and operated a small shipping firm that was quite successful. He and his family divided their time between Earth and Trill. He was survived by 4 children and passed over at the age of 106. Giacinta Dar: The 5th host to the Dar Symbiont was an archaelogist. She helped to find and uncover the ruins of ancient Trill civilizations. Giacinta is responsible for several exhibits that would have otherwise remained undiscovered. She passed over at the age of 83. Zamir Dar: The 4th host to the Dar Symbiont was a physicist. He was on the team that helped Trill to discover ways that they could travel safely through space. He had visions of a time when people would be able to travel to other planets and civilizations. A true visionary, but widely dismissed by his counterparts as a dreamer of scienc fiction. He passed over at the age of 100. Kendra Dar: The 3rd host to the Dar Symbiont was a history teacher. She was married and had three children. Her children all went on to fields of archaelogy or teaching. She passed over at the age of 75. Celvin Dar: The 2nd host to the Dar Symbiont was a doctor. He was responsible for discovering such cures as the one for a cancer that was 100% terminal at the time. He also went on to cure many mental illnesses and discovered the link between chemical imbalance and the gene that caused it. He passed over at the age of 98 and was survived by his wife and 2 children. Hypatia Dar: The 1st host to the Dar Symbiont was an enigmatic politician who was elected throug various offices and finally held a seat on the Trill Council and the Trill Symbiosis Commission. She along with several others were responsible for finding out and hiding the fact that over 90% of the Trill population could be joined. She has 2 children who survived her passing at the age of 82.
