to Starfleet Intelligence, the USS Odyssey's mission is somewhat hidden
from public view. It's believed Odyssey has taken part in several
covert operations ranging from information gathering and reconnaissance,
to rescue and retrieval, to kidnapping and coercion.
None of these can be substantiated as their missions are top secret.
The ship itself, a modified Akira class starship is also shrouded in secrecy.
Officially it’s classified as an battle crew; unofficially
it is a state-of-the-art intelligence gathering and law enforcement vessel equipped with the latest technology for insuring the fleet's eyes and ears are always open and justice is served. |
