Renaissance was built as a "New Beginning" between the Romulan, Klingon and Federation peoples. After the war, Cardassia was in need of rebuilding. Hunger and disease prevailed on the once great home world of Cardassia, hundreds of children were orphaned and ran in gangs trying to survive. The Federation responded with starbase Aegis. With the rotation of troops to this desolated world disease spread to homeworlds of those sending aide.
The Federation immediately started to build a relief station which was named Star Base Beta X, but more commonly called Renaissance Station. The station is in the Beta Quadrant and set an equal distance between Earth, Romulus and Qonos, able to render aide quickly to either planet with either medical or defensive assistance. Only those willing to be part of this collaboration and willing to set aside any Xenophobic impulses they may have are sent to Renaissance Station. Those that are sent soon find something within themselves that they may not have realized existed before. [Back to Top]

It is five years after the USS Voyager made its historical, triumphant...and accursed return to earth. With technology brought from the future, and detailed sensor data from the Borg nexus, their arrival heralds information that is years, if not decades or centuries beyond the technology currently possessed.
The Federation is in a tailspin. Desperate to conceal Voyager's secrets from even their own allies, and with a driving need to master the new components, the Federation's diplomatic ties begin to fray. Accusations fly from Romulus, to Quo'nos and even as far reaching as the Founders. What is the Federation doing with this Technology? Rumors of battle armament, of ordinance capable of bringing the mighty Borg Cube ships to their knees with one blow fly though the quadrants. And at the head of this? The Temporal Corridor. Has the Federation really deciphered its secrets and duplicated the technology?
Still nursing its losses against the Dominion, the Federation is no match for the growing paranoia gripping ally and enemy alike. Their scientists have indeed cracked the mysteries of the Temporal Corridor, but the resources needed to properly implement this sweeping technology the slowly regenerating Spacefleet simply does not have. They cannot afford to make enemies of friends, let alone do anything to jeopardize the tenuous, but holding peace they curry with Romulus. The halls of diplomacy and policy ring with the screams of accusations and demands. Even with this advanced technology, Spacefleet could not defend itself against another war and expect to survive, let alone succeed. The choice of two lesser evils are made: Better to level the playing field for all, then to die defending it. [Back to Top]

USS Odyssey

Attached to Starfleet Intelligence, the USS Odyssey's mission is somewhat hidden from public view. It's believed Odyssey has taken part in several covert operations ranging from information gathering and reconnaissance, to rescue and retrieval, to kidnapping and coercion.
The ship itself, a Defiant class starship is also is shrouded in secrecy. Officially it’s classified as an escort vessel; unofficially it is a state-of-the-art war vessel equipped with the latest technology for insuring the fleet's interests are preserved. [Back to Top]

The U.S.S. Valkyrie, NCC-75612-C, a Norway Class, was commissioned and launched September 2004. Leading the Starfleet Corp of Engineers (S.C.E) of the Alpha Quadrant the Valkyrie goes wherever they are needed. Captain Daien Aryll Denaher and Commander Arin Daal Triest are still the command team and these two individuals help the ship continue to fullfill it's motto: "Our Shield Is Honor, Our Weapon Is Courage, Our Mission Will Not Fail."
